The Lost 52 Project was founded by Tim Taylor as a continuation of his first WWII submarine discovery of the USS R12. Together with Christine Dennison, they produced a 24-minute documentary chronicling the

"ExpeditionR-12 AmericasForgottenSubmarine"

groundbreaking AUV expedition and the history of the submarine.  In addition to a focus on lost US WWII submarines, the team is developing a unique and proprietary scanning photogrammetry methodology that has them branching out and collaborating on numerous submerged cultural resource expeditions and post-processing projects around the world. The team is committed to the discovery and comprehensive 3D reality capture documentation of underwater historic sites.
